I carry my daughter for Easter - a simple bridge-style jersey. However, it is see through the fabric and an embroidered cloth. I support and help of white muslin, fine fabrics, but still through. Should I with a silk lining?

I would use something like cotton sateen. If there is a real clothes, costumes required high temperature and water emergency as acetate, rayon or polyester fabric will not survive food. Satin least give you a little trick.
Or make a note.
FWIW, I prefer to feed on skin color jobs like this one ... You do not see the shady connections, etc. What happens if fed brighter colors.
